JMM still an ally of Congress and RJD: Hemant Soren

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren today said the alliance among Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal continued to be in existence till date in the state.

He said the state government was implementing development projects in the state on the basis of the alliance. He hinted at following the same alliance pattern during the Assembly elections in the state.

Speaking to scribes before leaving for Ranchi from Dumka, Soren said the government allies were working with unity to ensure development of the state.

Asked to comment on the anti-alliance statement of Rajya Sabha MP Pradip Balmuchu, he said the final decision on alliance would be taken by the top leaders of both parties and that nothing could be said on it at present.

The CM further said the government would follow the instructions of the Election Commission and cooperate with it. He said the JMM was ready for the polls.

He said he was in Dumka for five days to meet the people and resolve local issues.
