Jamshedpur, Feb. 7: JMM MLA Champai Soren said that first Adityapur Municipal Council should provide facilities to the residents then get ready to levy holding tax.
The council should first fix up basic facilities including drinking water facilities, roads, sewerage system etc. The common man should not be threatened by the law and told to pay the holding tax which would unconstitutional and JMM will launch protest against the same, added Soren.
‘The locals of the region should be united and protest against the holding tax levy by the municipal council.
The areas under the council are filled with trash and people are craving for better health facilities’, said, Soren, adding, ‘the BJP government is adopting dictatorial attitude and JMM movement against the CNT/SPT act will intensify’.
