Jamshedpur: A delegation of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha members led by district president of the party Ramesh Hansda met DSP Kanhaiya Upadhyaya on Saturday and demanded a probe into alleged attempt by a woman to implicate several people of Banadungri village under Hitku panchayat on ‘false’ charge of gangrape.
The JMM leaders alleged that the woman had made false allegations against the village head and several others.
Ramesh Hansda said the police should conduct a probe to find out the truth. He said the police should not get carried away by the gangrape charge on the face of it.
