Jamshedpur : JMM leaders led by Shayam Ranjan Sarkar met Deputy Labour Commissioner. Sarkar said that the recent blast at the Tata Steel plant in Jamshedpur is matter of great concern.
Considering that over a million people residing in the steel city, steps need to be taken to ensure safety of the steel plant. Any minor negligence might result into a major mishap.
The labour department must also ensure that all factory inspectors carry out safety inspection in large scale units in the state so that such incidents do not recur.
