Jamshedpur, Sept 23: Senior JMM leader and party�s former district vice president Faizal Khan along with other members joined the BJP at a function organized at the party�s West Vidhan Sabha constituency�s PR office in Sakchi. They were welcomed into the saffron folds by Minister Saryu Roy and given primary memberships. It may be mentioned here that Faizal Khan is the brother of JMM leader Hidayatullah Khan. Faizal�s joining the BJP just before the state goes for its Assembly polls is being marked as an important political development.
Faizal Khan and his supporters joined BJP led by the party�s Bistupur Mandal president Suranjan Rai. Saryu Roy observed on the occasion, �Faizal Khan requires no introduction. We have been friends for long. BJP has been constantly expanding and the development work done by the government in five years is historic. This has been realized by all and this is reason why leaders of other political party are joining BJP en masse.�
The vote of thanks at the event was proposed by BJP Azadnagar Mandal president Md Nisar Ahmad. Vidhan Sabha convener Mukul Mishra, Vikas Singh, Harendra Pandey, Ajay Srivastav and other party officials were present on the occasion.
Among others who joined the BJP were Satya Dev Sarkar, Joy Jeet Sikandar, Bibhuti Kumar Mallik, Faizal Ali, Raso Behra, Sanjay Singh, Tulsi Das, Shivam Murmu, Sonu Sardar, Shubham Kumar, Adesh Kumar Singh, Arjun Singh, Kalicharan Machhua and Md Zuber.
