Gamharia: A meeting of the JMM and JYM executive committees was organized in Kandra to elect Gamharia block committees of JMM and its youth wing JYM. The meeting unanimously elected the office bearers of the JMM executive committee for Gamharia. Jagdish Mahto was elected president while BT Das, Vikram Mandal, Dharmu Majhi, Vikram Sardar, Pyarelal Pradhan and Arun Mahto (vice presidents), Mangal Majhi (secretary), Shankar Mahto, Sudarshan Gorai and Rajesh Gope (joint secretaries), Shankar Singhdev (organization secretary) and Bhim Hansda (treasurer).
Similarly, the election for the JYM Gamharia block committee was unanimous. Those elected were Anil Soren (president), Uma Mahto, Manik Gope, Sandip Poddar, Sodha Nayak and Saroj Mandal (vice presidents), Debasish Pradhan (secretary), Uttam Das, Gurwa Mardi, Surya Nayak, Ravi Sardar and Asit Kumar Mahto (assistant secretaries), Sitaram Pradhan (organization secretary) and Baburam Mardi (treasurer).
JMM leader and legislator Champai Soren who was present on the occasion garlanded the newly elected executives and urged them to work diligently for the party.
