Dhanbad, Feb 4: The JMM Foundation Day event held at Golf Ground in Dhanbad saw Chief Minister Champai Soren addressing the gathering with a strong critique of the opposition’s persistent efforts to destabilize Hemant Soren’s government. Expressing concern over the lack of transparency regarding the charges against Hemant Soren, he questioned the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for failing to specify the sections imposed.

During his speech, Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s noteworthy efforts in managing the COVID-19 pandemic were highlighted. Special emphasis was placed on initiatives aimed at repatriating migrant laborers to Jharkhand. The government’s actions were lauded, underscoring the successful connection of migrants to various employment opportunities.

The gathering also heard from prominent figures within JMM, including Rajmahal MP Vijay Hansda and Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Maji. Vijay Hansda underscored the strength of the youth and stressed the imperative to uproot the opposition in the upcoming election year. Mahua Maji expressed confidence, assuring the audience that Hemant Soren would soon be released from jail, continuing his dedicated service to the people of Jharkhand.

Shibu Soren, the revered leader and founder of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), was notably absent from the foundation day celebrations. However, he conveyed his sentiments through a letter addressed to his supporters. In the missive, Soren, known as Dishom Guru, urged tribals to stay informed and read extensively while expressing his regret for not being able to attend due to physical illness.

Highlighting the arrest of his son, Hemant Soren, Shibu Soren asserted that his son had been falsely implicated. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had taken Hemant Soren into custody, but the charges against him remained unclear. Shibu Soren called upon the supporters to question and answer those who were responsible for framing his son.

Despite the absence of Shibu Soren and his family members, the JMM foundation day event witnessed an overwhelming display of enthusiasm among party workers and supporters hailing from various districts of Jharkhand.
