Ranchi: The old-look JMM got a digital facelift with the launching of digital campaign raths by Hemant Soren.
A total of 25 raths were flagged off. The step also hinted a transformation from the age of its founder vintage Shibu Soren and its new savior Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Both the tallest leaders of the party were present during the launching.
The transformation was clearly aimed at the younger generation coming up in considerable numbers in the State and the country. The rath presents the saga of the partys patriarch Shibu Soren and his struggle for a separate State. The rest belongs to his son Hemant Soren.
Partys ideology, history, its vision, information about its organisational structure, leadership etc are also available.
The Chief Minister in his address underlined the transformation: It is an important day for the JMM as it has stepped into a new world which is full of charisma. It was the need of the hour for us as we are considered as backwards. The job of making a separate State is over and we have to think how poor people can be brought forward.
Hemant also underlined the importance of the technical edge considering it seamless, beyond the boundary reach and not confined to any time limit.
The elections are near and the remaining time should be utilised for the maximum benefits of the party. We can connect better to the people, especially the youths. The step should have come before, he said.
