Gamharia, July 14: If Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) forms a government in the state, the industrial workers as also those of entire Jharkhand will be protected from the oppressive and suppressive policies of the industrialists and other business houses through enactment of stern laws. The party has always striven for the rights and protection of the working class and will continue to do so, observed chief guest and JMM legislator Champai Soren at a function jointly organized by Veer Shahid Ratilal Mahto Smriti Raksha Samiti (VSRMSRS) and the JMM district committee to observe the 20th martyrdom day of the messiah of the working class at the Uperbera Maidan today.

The program commenced with the garlanding of the statue of Veer Shahid Ratilal Mahto by JMM and other political and social organization heads including members of VSRMSRS.

Champai Soren further stated that Shahid Ratilal Mahto was a messiah of the working class and his struggles against the ruling class comprising industrialists and other business houses for upholding the rights of workers should always be remembered as a lesson in selfless devotion and the path he had left behind should be followed.
