Jig gigs mark advent of Madhuri�s �Total Dhamaal� in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: A unique festive fervor gripped the Payal Cinema at Mango, eylex on NH 33 and PJP Cinepolis at P&M Mall in Bistupur as the latest Madhuri Dixit starrer, �Total Dhamaal� hit city theatres today. Popular as the greatest fan of the cinestar, Pappu Sardar danced with ladies and special children from Cheshire Home before the 2:30 pm show at Payal Cinema. Crowds milled around Pappu and his dance team and clapped in unison with the beats of songs belted out from Madhuri�s prior films. Even the men, who could not restrain themselves from shaking a leg, jumped into the fray to add to the excitement. It was indeed a jig gigs event.

The heartwarming part of the Pappu Sardar show was the keen interest shown by the special inmates of Cheshire Home. Some clung on to Pappu in glee while some others jumped in excitement. Head of Cheshire Home Sister Philomena, equally happy for her wards observed, �It fills my heart with extreme joy seeing the faces of my children (Cheshire Home inmates) radiating happiness. In fact, my children are so happy whenever Pappuji comes to our place. God bless him for spreading joy among people.�

Another exciting feature of the �show outside the show� was the participation of the third gender members in the dance items along with Pappu. They enthralled the onlookers with their performance. Later, they were invited to the 2:30 pm show of �Total Dhamaal.�

Pappu Sardar had booked the entire ground floor at Payal Talkies for women only for the afternoon show. More than five hundred ladies from all over town watched the movie free of cost.

CL Sharma, the manager of Payal talkies informed, ��Total Dhamaal� is a purely entertainment movie and people love to see such films. You can gauge from the crowd response to this film.� As per Indian custom, a coconut was broken on the floor to auger in good luck for �Total Dhamaal.�

The Madhuri Dixit fan also went to eylex Cinema on NH 33 where the movie had also opened. A cake was cut at eylex and ice-cream and chocolates were distributed among the audience who jingled the box offices at both these theatres.
