Jamshedpur: A delegation of Jharkhand Human Rights Conference (JHRC) members today met the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Dr Amitabh Kaushal and handed over a memorandum to him demanding setting up of a Prompt Redressal Committee to deal with complaints and cases of sexual harassment of women at workplaces and elsewhere in all government and private offices of the district.
The outfit president Manoj Mishra, who led the delegation, said the government and private offices should follow government guidelines regarding safety of women at all places without fail.
