Jhartex concludes on a buoyant note �

Jamshedpur, Nov. 8: Mr. DK Srivastav, chairman Jharkhand public service commission (JPSC) was guest on the concluding day of �Jhartex�- a mega fair in Ranchi on Sunday, November 8.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Srivastav congratulated the organizers of the fair for such a successful mega event. He mentioned that it is very heartening to see an event to promote the rural artisans.�

Jhartex became the talk of the town with more than�120 exhibitors participating from Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Karnataka, West Bengal, Haryana, Orissa, Nagpur, Lucknow, Uttarakhand, Varanasi and many more.

This showcases the rich history and artisan diversity of each state of the country in the area of textile, handloom and handicraft. Ranchi has never witnessed a more successful exhibition in this sector.

Jhartex presented a perfect exhibition accompanied with the entertainment evening every day. Later, YUWA girls from Ormanjhi performed a traditional dance.

Jhartex � a 5 days mega fair witnessed a magic show, cultural dance, fancy dress competition, fashion show to promote the clothes of Jharcraft, an amazing dance performance from the girls of Yuva foundation and the sensational folk evening by Ms. Aakansha Banerjee & troupe , her voice has already taken the nation by storm.
