Jamshedpur, March 13: State Youth Congress committee secretary Rakesh Sahu has claimed that it is of great importance for the Opposition Combine to contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha Jamshedpur seat by putting up state party chief Dr Ajoy Kumar as its candidate.
Sahu has argued that Dr Ajoy Kumar is very popular among the voters of this constituency because of his assiduous work for the people and also because of his no-nonsense attitude towards crime and criminal during his tenure as the police super of the district. He urged the party high command and top leaders to reconsider their Grand alliance strategy and offer the Jamshedpur seat to Dr Ajoy Kumar as there was none else as popular as the Congress state president. Sahu exuded confidence when he said that there would be no one to beat him at the LS hustings.
