Jharkhand will be developed as a tourism hub: Raghubar

Dumka: Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said the state government has developed every sector in the last three years. He said several schemes are being run in the tourism sector. Tourism in Santhal Pargana is being developed. Tourist spots in Masaanjor and Dumka are being developed, he added.

The CM said the people should change their thinking about development. �If everyone contributes for development only then villages, panchayats, cities, state and country will develop. We cannot progress with the old mindset.

The country is growing fast and we should keep pace with it. Only casting vote is not the responsibility of people. Jharkhand will be developed as a tourism hub. If district administration works sincerely, then development will reach to last people of the society,� he said.

Das admired Panchmart scheme of Dumka district administration and said this will help the villagers to get benefit of a lot of government schemes. He said that the promises made by the state government to the people of Dumka will materialize soon. A large number of appointments will be made next year, he said.

Dumka DC Mukesh Kumar gifted a memento of Bashukinath temple and Maluti village to the CM.

Secretary to the CM Sunil Barnwal, DC Mukesh Kumar, SP Mayur Patel, Deputy Development Commissioner Shashi Ranjan along with other senior officers were present during the program.
