Ranchi, May 12: The state weather center of the Meteorological Department issued a warning for May 13, indicating the likelihood of thunderstorms and strong winds in isolated areas of northeastern and southern Jharkhand. Wind speeds could reach 30 to 40 kilometers per hour, impacting districts such as East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Simdega, Sahibganj, Godda, Pakur, Dumka, Deoghar, Jamtara, and Dhanbad.
Additionally, light rain accompanied by thundershowers has been forecast for northeastern, southern, and adjacent central regions of the state on May 13. Similar weather patterns are expected to affect several districts.
On May 14, there is a possibility for thunderstorms and strong winds in northeastern areas of Jharkhand, with wind speeds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour anticipated in districts like Sahibganj, Godda, Pakur, Dumka, Deoghar, Jamtara, Dhanbad, and Giridih.
Minimal changes in maximum temperatures are predicted over the next two days, followed by a gradual increase of three to four degrees Celsius over the subsequent three days. Residents have been advised to stay updated on weather advisories and take necessary precautions.
