Jharkhand U-19 Badminton selection trials for Nationals begin in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Sep 16: The Jharkhand State U-19 Badminton selection trials for Nationals kicked off at the Tata Steel Badminton Training Centre in Jamshedpur. Organized by the Jharkhand Badminton Association, the trials will run until September 19, 2024, with over 100 players from different districts competing.

Krish Dubey, the defending champion in the Boys Singles U-19 category, aims to retain his title, while Sarah Sharma from East Singhbhum is a top contender in the Girls Singles.

K. Prabhakar Rao, Secretary of the Jharkhand Badminton Association, stated that the tournament is essential for selecting the state’s best young talent for the nationals and invited badminton fans to enjoy the exciting matches.
