Ranchi, May 28: Officials have informed Chief Minister Hemant Soren that the 11-member team of the 16th Finance Commission have come to Jharkhand for four days from May 28. This team will be led by chairperson Arvind Panagariya..
Chief Minister Hemant Soren has instructed the officials to present the road map for development of the state before the Finance Commission.
The Chief Minister is learnt to have emphasized that the recommendations of the state government should be such that the all-round development of the people of all sections and communities can be ensured.

The state government has prepared a statement of its financial status, management and expenditure of grant amount.
The government has also prepared information about the developmental works being done in the field of social and economic empowerment.
The priorities of the government will be presented through powerpoint presentation, which includes irrigation water storage for agricultural work, quality education, better health facilities, infrastructure and promotion of tourism.
The government will submit a memorandum to the team of the 16th Finance Commission, in which the roadmap for the development of the state and important issues will be discussed.
On May 29, the team will go to Deoghar, where they will worship at Baba Baidyanath Dham temple and meet the representatives of divisional level local bodies.
On May 30, the team will meet the representatives of local bodies, industry and commerce in Ranchi. After this, an important meeting will be held with all the ministers and officials of the state government, in which the financial condition, economic and social situation of the state will be discussed.
On May 30 itself, the team will also talk to the representatives of major political parties of Jharkhand.
On May 31, the team will leave for Delhi from Ranchi.
