Jharkhand to participate in 38th HFI Sub-Junior Boys National Handball Championship

Jamshedpur: The 38th HFI Sub-Junior Boys National Handball Championship 2024 is set to take place at D.P.S Nadargul, Hyderabad, from October 3rd to 7th, and Jharkhand State will be participating in this prestigious event. A team of talented players from various districts has been selected to represent the Jharkhand State team.

The team includes players from different districts:

Saraikela Kharsawa: Sunil Munda, Jay Mukhi, Abhinav Bharat Soy, Bhawesh Kumar Jaiswal, and Riyaz Ahmad
East Singhbhum: Chirag Kishore, Yuvraj Singh, Anas Akhter, Md. Sajid, Pritam, and Abhijeet
Ranchi: Vivek Oraon, Anash Khalko, and Rohit Khalko
Dhanbad: Harsh Kumar and Abhinav Kumar
Gumla: Roshan Kumar Sahu and Neeraj Manjhi
Bokaro: Faizal Dilshad

The team officials for this championship are Manish Yadav and Saheb Ali from East Singhbhum, Santosh Kumar Singh from Dhanbad, and Bishnu Kumar from Ranchi. Khurshid Khan, Secretary of the Jharkhand State Handball Association and Chairman of the Technical Committee of HFI, will accompany the team as the manager. Additionally, Amit Kumar Pathak from Dumka has been nominated as a referee for the tournament.

The team is scheduled to depart from Jamshedpur on October 1st, 2024, traveling by the Steel Express to Kharagpur and then by the East Coast Express to Hyderabad.

Pradeep Kumar Balmuchu, President of the Jharkhand State Handball Association (JSHA), and Firoz Khan, Treasurer of JSHA, have extended their best wishes to the team for the tournament.
