Ranchi, Dec. 18: Chief Minister Mr. Raghubar Das said that Jharkhand has to be developed into an IT hub.
He said that the state govt. has identified 400 acres land in Ranchi for making the IT hub. Along with it, software parks are being developed at Bokaro, Ranchi, Dhanbad, & Jamshedpur.
The CM said it while inaugurating Advantage Jharkhand 2015 at Hotel Chanakya BNR. He said that the govt. will provide land to IT companies in a week.
The CM said that the state is full of talents & opening of IT companies in the state is the demand of time. He said that the people will get rid of the middlemen by making proper use of IT. The govt. is starting e-district, e-city, e-gram to bring transparency in the system.
He said that the govt. endeavors to start online mutation from March 2016 & land records are being digitalized. He said that the govt. is trying to give an accountable government.
Chief Secretary Mr. Rajiv Gauba said that possibilities of investment & development has increased in the state. Maximum services are provided to people through e-governance. Apart from finding new areas, we have to focus on cyber securities & hardware industry.
IT secretary Mr. Sunil Burnwal said that the state has emerged as a place of potentials in eastern India. The state has been considered number three by the World Bank from initiating a business point of view.
Apart from making software technology park in four districts, an electronic cluster has been approved at Adityapur. An IIIT will start in Ranchi from June- July in collaboration with Tata Motors, TCS & CCL.
He said that man power can be hired from famous educational institutions. He said that the govt. has worked sincerely for skill development & connectivity & digitalization of data is done speedily.
The CM handed over the papers of land to National Institute of Information & Technology ( NILIT).
