Jharkhand T20 league commences Sept 15, Jamshedpur Jugglers among 6 teams to participate

JSCA partners with TCM Sports for inaugural event

Ranchi, Sept. 4: Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) is all set for the inaugural Jharkhand T20 league. The league scheduled to commence on September 15 will see 33 matches being played across 17 days. This will be the first live sports event in India since the government imposed nation-wide lockdown in last week of March, 2020.

TCM Sports has partnered with Jharkhand State Cricket Association for the inaugural T20 league.

The league aims to provide nearly 100 cricketers from Jharkhand the opportunity to experience their own T20 League.

Jharkhand T20 League will have Six (6) teams representing six different zones of the state. The six teams will be Ranchi Raiders, Dumka Daredevils, Dhanbad Dynamos, Singhbhum Strikers, Jamshedpur Jugglers and Bokaro Blasters. The teams shall comprise only players who are registered with the Association from within the state of Jharkhand. There will be no franchisees or team owners.

TCM will be responsible for all commercial rights related to the coveted event, end to end operations and management of League. The sports marketing firm holds exclusive ground rights across various cricket stadia in India and globally. Outside India, TCM holds the exclusive naming, sponsorship and in-stadia rights across New Zealand Cricket, Cricket West Indies, and Asia Cup tournaments (Asian Cricket Council). TCM also has on-ground partnerships with cricket boards of South Africa, Bangladesh, England and Australia.

J.S.C.A. and TCM plan to make the League an annual affair to ensure its twin objectives of focusing on the development of the sport in the state and eventually taking it to the deep pockets of the state.
