Jamshedpur, Sept 09: The inauguration of the Jharkhand Science Film Club was organized at Tangerine Government School, Potka in East Singhbhum on Saturday. School Principal, Arvind Tiwary welcomed the guests. The opening address was delivered by the Secretary of ‘Science for Society,’ DNS Anand. Renowned social worker Anjali Bose unveiled the official logo. Three films were screened on the occasion that was witnessed by more than 100 students of the school along with the faculty members.
The screening of the three films was followed by an interactive session during which students shared their observations and insights gained from these films. Other prominent guests present during the event included Ajit Singh (Environmentalist), Siddeshwar Sardar (Social Worker), Shashank Shekhar (Journalist) and Deepak (Social Worker). The organizing team members of the Jharkhand Science Film Club Abhishekh Gupta, Heera Prasad and Vikash Kumar were also present and moderated the program.
