Jamshedpur: Jharkhand was the runner-up of the 19th Eastern Region National Kho Kho Championship. West Bengal won the championship.
Jharkhand team remained at the third position in the women�s category. West Bengal also won the women�s event while Orissa was the runner-up.
The coach of the Jharkhand team Suresh Choudhary said teams from Orissa, West Bengal, Asam, Tripura, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Manipur and Jharkhand participated in the championship.
