Ranchi, August 21: The torrential rains in Jharkhand for the last two days have thrown life out of gear. Roads were blocked due to falling trees in almost all the places of the state. At the same time, hundreds of houses were also damaged. Due to incessant rains, the water level of all the dams has also increased. In such a situation, disaster management minister Banna Gupta has given necessary guidelines. In view of the continuous rain, Banna Gupta has directed the deployment of SDRF (state disaster response force) team division-wise. So that according to the need, the team can take quick action and rescue the people. Banna Gupta has also directed to buy necessary equipment to strengthen the SDRF team. Instructions given to install lightning drivers in schools
Banna Gupta said that departmental secretary Amitabh Kaushal has been given guidelines a week ago. Under this, the Disaster Management Department and the Education Department will work in harmony to install lightning drivers in the schools of the state. Minister Banna Gupta has instructed to identify such schools, which have more number of students.
