Ranchi, March 23: There will be direct appointment on the posts of police, warden, excise constable and home guard in Jharkhand state.
The new Recruitment Rules-2025 have been approved by Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar. After this decision, the Home Department has also issued the relevant gazette. Under this, the recruitment process for various posts will be started in the state.
There will be direct appointment to the posts of Kakshapal (warden), Sepoy (Home Defense Corps), and Product Sepoy.
This appointment will be made on the recommendation of Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission.
There will be 33 percent reservation for women in all the posts.
50 percent of the total vacancies for Home Defense Corps and Home Guard will be reserved for women.
10 percent horizontal reservation will be available for assistant police working on contract.
The minimum age limit for appointment to all posts will be 18 years.
There will be physical efficiency test while candidates holding graduation or diploma from Raksha Shakti University will get weightage of 4 to 10 marks in appointment to police posts.
