Jadugora: A meeting of Jharkhand Kisan Morcha, East Singhbhum committee, was held at Nirmal Guesthouse on Friday. All members unanimously decided to expand the district committee. Luv Sardar was elected district president for the second consecutive time.
Other members inducted in the new committee included Paltan Murmu, Subhash Karmakar, Rajesh Mahato, Vishnu Murmu, Bharat Chanda Patro, Madhav Murmu and Sapan Bhakt.
Also present on the occasion was the former MLA of Potka, Sanatan Majhi. He said farmers are the backbone of the country. He said farmers will continue to struggle for their rights.
Among others present on the occasion included former MP Suman Mahato, Sheikh Badruddin, Mahavir Murmu, Pramod Lal, Manoj Yadav, Mangal Kalindi, Hiramuni Murmu, Govind Lohar and Gopal Mahato.
