Jharkhand joins Tomorrow 8pm cinema drive

Ranchi : Governor of Jharkhand, Dr. Syed Ahmed met the film research team of Tomorrow 8pm at Raj Bhavan today. The team which is undertaking one of the biggest experiments for film script in the history of Indian Cinema was in Ranchi meeting and interacting with common people, laborers, intellectuals, journalists, writers and bureaucrats and compiling their views on Time, Life and Money which is the subject of the upcoming feature film titled, Tomorrow 8pm.

The team led by director of the film, Manoj Maurya had a very constructive dialogue with Governor Dr. Syed Ahmed who felt that Cinema today definitely needs to be more productive and should address to the needs of education and children. Dr. Syed Ahmed being an author and writer himself has expressed his great interest in the project that is aimed at bringing a revolution in Indian Cinema.

A hindi feature film titled Tomorrow 8pm takes an innovative approach towards developing script for the film by compiling real life experiences of people across 29 states of India by travelling 17000km on Road Trip.

The 8 member team consisting of the director of the film, Manoj Maurya and producer Prakash Sarode is sensitizing masses with the value of Time in their lives.

Beginning from Mumbai and having met 50000 people over 9000 kilometers journey in 30 days across 11 states of India including Gujarat, Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh,
Uttrakhand, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Bihar, Tomorrow 8pm India Road trip has come to Ranchi.

The project is receiving overwhelming responses from dignitaries, bureaucrats, artists, literary stalwarts and masses alike from each state who are becoming a part of the trip and sharing amazing insights, stories and
experiences which the team is compiling in the form of documentary film.

Says Manoj Maurya, “I had a very wonderful response from Ranchi for my film, Tomorrow 8pm. I feel rest of India knows very little about Ranchi and its social and cultural importance.

When I met Hon’ble Governor, Dr. Syed Ahmed, he shared lots of interesting facts about the region and made us aware of the abundant potential of Jharkhand which shall be a part of the documentary film that is being made on Tomorrow 8pm India Road Trip.”

Dr. Syed Ahmed said that Jharkhand will always be aggressive in making its contribution towards projects of national and cultural importance.

In an interaction with Manoj Maurya, he said, “Though I do not watch cinema, I feel that cinema is adversely affecting the growing process of children who do not have the discretionary power to consume adult’s content.

I feel cinema should focus more and more on education. I feel Tomorrow 8pm is a revolutionary project towards a more productive cinema, I want to see more such visionary projects for our country.”

Hon’ble Governor also put the soil on behalf of people of Jharkhand in the peepal plant which is carrying the soil of all 11 states of India where the team has traveled so far.

This peepal plant is a symbol of nation’s unity and integrity. Tomorrow 8pm India Road Trip is leaving for
Jamshedpur and will be covering Odisha, Chattisgarh, South India, Maharshtra and celebrate the completion of Trip in Bhopal.
