Ranchi, Jan. 20: Jharkhand chief secretary Rajiv Gauba said on Wednesday that the state has been invited to participate in the “Make in India Week” in DIPP.
Jharkhand will share the dais with Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat – the selected states where the investors will directly contact the government and open up new routes of development. He said this during and inter-departmental coordination meeting.
In the meeting it was said that Jharkhand has been allotted four hours, from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. He said that the state government will showcase an exhibition on the achievements of different departments in “Ease of Doing Business.” A video film related with various endeavours by different departments will be screened. Moreover, all departmental secretaries will talk directly with the investors.
The CS directed all departments to make preparations on different levels before February 17 to make the program successful. He laid stress on selecting the best agency for various services and compilation of the achievements of different departments in the form of a booklet. He said that all points of “Ease of Doing Business” should be considered to make the program a huge success and added that home works should be done on every point of achievements and flagships.
Additional chief secretary U.P. Singh, principal secretary, Environment Department Sukhdeo Singh, Health Department secretary K. Vidyasagar, IT Department secretary Sunil Kr. Burnwal, Higher Education secretary Ajay Kr. Singh, Industry secretary K. Ravi Kumar and other officers were present in this meeting.
