Jharkhand Industrial Area Development Authority office closed as staff dies of corona

Jamshedpur, Aug 22: The office of Jharkhand Industrial Area Development Authority (JIADA) formerly known as Adityapur Industrial Area Development Authority was shut down today for three days after one of its staff died of COVID-19 in Adityapur late on Friday night.

The victim used to work in the accounts department. Amidst fear of spread, the administration of JIADA  decided to shut down the institution.

Regional deputy director, RIADA, Ranjana Mishra said the deceased accountant was working along with 30 plus officials so concerned over the situation they have decided to get the entire office premises sanitised before Tuesday when it will be reopened.
