Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren told jubilant candidates gathered at his residential office on Thursday that their hard-earned success in the JSSC CGL exam reflects both their determination and the state’s commitment to fairness. Hundreds of candidates arrived in celebration after Jharkhand High Court lifted the stay on results and appointments, thanking Soren and MLA Kalpana Soren for standing with them throughout the dispute.
Speaking to them, Soren said every detail of the JSSC CGL matter was investigated impartially and strict action was taken against those who attempted to taint the exam’s transparency. He said the court recognised the integrity of the process and the sincere efforts of candidates, restoring their faith and delivering long-awaited justice.
Soren noted that while Jharkhand Public Service Commission conducted only a limited number of civil service exams over eighteen years, his government matched that count within five. He said earlier recruitment cycles were often shadowed by allegations, whereas examinations held during his tenure remained clean.
He congratulated candidates for prevailing after a long struggle, saying delays alone prevented distribution of appointment letters during the government’s first anniversary event. Soren emphasised that the administration stands firmly with youth and believes a prosperous Jharkhand depends on their wellbeing.
Candidates expressed heartfelt gratitude, crediting the impartial investigation and firm action against offenders for their victory. They said the support extended by the Chief Minister was crucial in securing justice.
