Jharkhand Health minister dedicates dialysis unit, park, regional vaccine centre and Atal clinic to Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Aug 21: State health minister Banna Gupta who is also Jamshedpur West MLA along with Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato inaugurated on Saturday the dialysis unit and park christened ‘Shradhanjali Park’ at Sadar Hospital at Khasmahal in Parsudih.

The health minister praised the initiative of the hospital management for taking the initiative to dedicate such facilities for the masses despite shortage of funds. Earlier, a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) was also inaugurated by the health minister a few months back.

The Shradhanjali Park has been dedicated as a tribute to the doctors who lost their lives during the Corona period in the line of duties. On the initiative of Civil Surgeon Dr AK Lal, the park is in memory of doctors and health workers who lost their lives while serving the patients. This park has been built in the memory of such people. Here saplings have been planted in the name of corona warriors.

Actually, all this has been possible with the help of  MPBidyut Baran Mahato, health minister, local MLAs and Tata Cummins Company.

The three-bed dialysis center will give relief to poor kidney patients. Here patients will get free dialysis facility. Till now poor patients of the district had to spend an average of Rs 1200 for dialysis. This center is one of the major achievements of the district health Department. MPs and local MLAs contributed with their funds in the construction of this centre.

Potka MLA Sanjeev Sardar, Baharagora MLA Sameer Mahanty, East Singhbhum civil surgeon Dr. AK Lal, additional chief medical officer Dr. Sahir Pal, deputy Superintendent of Sadar Hospital Dr. ABK Bakhala, were also present on the occasion.

The Health Minister Banna Gupta also inaugurated Atal Clinic in Dhatkidih on Saturday. Now people here will not have to go to MGM or other hospitals for minor ailments. Here doctors will be present in the clinic in the morning and evening. Medicines will also be available there. The clinic  will benefit the local masses. One doctor, two nurses, one pharmacist and one sanitation worker will be present in the clinic.

Health Minister inaugurated Kolhan level vaccine Center in the office premises of District Leprosy prevention unit at Sakchi.

The centre will supply vaccines to all the three districts (East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan).. It has a capacity to stock five lakh doses.
