Jharkhand Health Minister Banna claims credit for Centre’s widening diseases ambit in Ayushman Bharat

Ranchi, December 31: The efforts of state health minister Banna Gupta was successful as Central government increased the treatment limit of 409 diseases.

In a meeting with the Union Health Minister held in Delhi on October 27, health minister Banna Gupta raised the voice for increasing the limit for treatment under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.

Minister Banna Gupta had emphasized in the said meeting that the patients who are treated under Ayushman Bharat scheme are cured with complete treatment but the money which is given for the treatment of patients remains less, due to which the family members of the patient remain troubled and due to paucity of money are unable to get complete treatment, in many cases the patients also die, so the amount to be treated under this should be increased.

Accepting this initiative, the Central Government has decided to increase the amount of treatment for 409 diseases, for this positive initiative, Banna Gupta has expressed gratitude to the Union Health Minister  Mansukh Mandaviya.
