Jamshedpur, May 27: Jharkhand Pradesh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee has sent a fax to the President of the country Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Health Minister Harsh Vardhan demanding four lakh rupees to the dependents of corona victims and Rs one lakh compensation to patients who have recovered from the virus.
Sardar Shailendra Singh, president of Jharkhand Pradesh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee said that as during the tenure of the former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, a law was passed in the Lok Sabha for the 1984 riot victims similarly, in the Lok Sabha, an order to give compensation of Rs 4 lakh to the dependents among those who died due to corona and black fungus disease and Rs 1 lakh to patients who are cured of corona disease, should be passed.
In the letter sent, it has been said that financially backward people have been able to take care of the victims by taking loans, many people have also died due to lack of money.
Sardar Shailendra Singh called for a separate Lok Sabha session related to corona and black fungal disease, and passed the compensation related form and a similar law should be enacted for all the states in the country so that the dependents of persons killed due to corona, black fungus disease, can get four lakhs.
