Jharkhand Governor, CM offer prayer to Jagannath for state’s prosperity 

Ranchi, July 1: Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bais and Chief Minister Hemant Soren prayed for happiness and prosperity of the state from Lord Jagannath.

On the auspicious occasion of Rath Yatra, Governor Ramesh Bais and Chief Minister Hemant Soren reached Jagannath Temple at Ranchi Dhurva on Friday and duly offered prayers to Lord Jagannath, Subhadra and Balabhadra. The Governor prayed for the happiness, prosperity, peace and progress of the country and the state by offering prayers and darshan of  Jagannath. Ramesh Bais said that today I had the privilege of offering prayers at the feet of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra. May Lord Jagannath shower his blessings on all and extended his best wishes to the people of the state for Rath Yatra.

On this occasion, Hemant Soren, while wishing happiness, prosperity and healthy life of the people of the state from Jagannath, extended his greetings and best wishes to everyone on the occasion of Rath Yatra. The Chief Minister prayed that blessings of the Lord remain on everyone and Jharkhand should attain new heights of development. 

On this occasion Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth, former MP Subodh Kant Sahai, MLA Naveen Jaiswal, MLA Rajesh Kachhap, first servant of Jagannath Temple Sudhanshu Nath Shahdev and other dignitaries and a large number of devotees were present.
