CM reviews preparation for statehood day function

Ranchi, November 14: Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren chaired a high level meeting to review preparedness of State Foundation Day program scheduled at Morahabadi in Ranchi on Wednesday.

A total of 229 schemes worth Rs 1714.44 crore will be inaugurated and the foundation stone of a total of 677 schemes worth Rs 5328.30 crore will be laid. The ceremony will start at 2 pm and end at 3:30 pm.

Hemant Soren also reviewed the Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar program.

The Chief Minister instructed the officials that all programs should be decided according to a vision. All arrangements should be completed on time. During this, the officials informed him about the minute by minute details of the ceremony.

Abua Awas Yojana and Mukhyamantri Gram Gaadi Yojana will also be launched on this occasion.

Jharkhand Export Policy, Jharkhand MSME Policy, Jharkhand Startup Policy and Jharkhand IT Data and BPO Promotion Policy will be launched.

According to the information received from the labour department, an employment fair will be organized and under this, offer letters for jobs in various companies will be handed over to the Chief Minister to 18,000 youth.

The review meeting was attended by chief secretary Sukhdev Singh, development commissioner cum additional chief secretary Arun Kumar Singh, additional chief secretary of home department Avinash Kumar, additional chief secretary forest L Khiangate among others.

Chief Minister took detailed information from the departmental officers about the schemes and policies launched by their department. The Chief Minister said that the plans for which the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony is to be held during the State Foundation Day celebrations should be finalized and completed well in advance.

There will be distribution of prize money among the players, transfer of funds through DBT among the beneficiary girl students of Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana and distribution of assets among the beneficiaries.

Later in the day Hemant Soren inspected the ongoing preparations for the main function to be organized at Morhabadi Ground, Ranchi .

He saw the ongoing construction work of the pandal, stage and stalls here and gave several instructions to the officials.

He told the officials to take full care that the people and beneficiaries participating in this function do not face any kind of problem.
