Jamshedpur, Nov 21: The BJP and its allies will likely emerge victorious in the Jharkhand assembly election, according to four exit polls. One exit poll forecast a win by the alliance comprising Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM).

The second and final phase of the Jharkhand Assembly elections concluded on November 20, with exit polls revealing a tight race in key constituencies, particularly Jamshedpur East and Jamshedpur West. According to the Aaj Tak-C Voter exit poll, a close contest is expected in 20 constituencies across Jharkhand. Of Kolhan’s 14 seats, the survey forecasts NDA winning 2, the INDIA bloc 5, and a tight race on the remaining 7, including Jamshedpur East and West.

For Chotanagpur, NDA is predicted to win 14 seats, with the INDIA bloc taking 6, according to C Voter.

Palamu may see NDA bagging 7 seats, while the India Alliance gets 2. In Santhal, the survey shows NDA with 6 seats and the India Alliance leading with 10, leaving 20 seats open to fierce competition.
