Jamshedpur, Aug 24: The appointment and contribution of teachers in minority schools of the state will now depend on the prior approval of the education director. Though the decision is 40 years old, it was being ignored. Now only after getting the permission of the departmental director, the teachers selected for appointment will be able to contribute to the school.
If the managing committee of a school fails to follow the order, then its recognition of minority can be terminated. An order to this effect has been issued by the Director of Secondary Education Harsh Mangla (Indian Administrative Service) on Monday. A copy of this order has been sent to all the district education officers of the state and the principals and secretaries of the management working committees of recognized minority schools.

In Jharkhand, the state government has entrusted the power of approval of the headmaster and assistant teacher to the director of secondary education under notification number-165 dated January 16, 2008. By the notification number 1173 of the State Government dated 30 April 2008, all the powers of the school board regarding minority secondary schools have been delegated to the Director of Secondary Education.
If any teacher and headmaster contribute to the school without approval, then the department will not be responsible for paying salary
