Dry Weather to Continue in Jharkhand Till February 19: IMD

Jamshedpur: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dry and stable weather conditions across Jharkhand till February 19, with north-westerly winds expected to prevail over the region in the coming days.

Meteorologists said no significant synoptic system is currently active over the state. The prevailing north-westerly flow is likely to maintain dry conditions, ruling out any immediate possibility of rainfall. The state remained rain-free during the past 24 hours.

According to the outlook, February 17 will see early morning mist followed by mainly clear skies. On February 18 and 19, mist is likely to persist in the morning hours with partly cloudy conditions later in the day. Despite some cloud cover, weather conditions are expected to remain dry throughout the period.
