Ranchi, Sep 8: Hemant Soren replying to BJP leader protest for opening of temples said that the decision on opening of temples would be taken within a week.
A meeting of the State Disaster Management Authority was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his Chamber located in the Vidhan Sabha. The Chief Minister was informed by secretary disaster management Amitabh Kaushal that news has been published in the newspapers regarding the order passed by the Supreme Court regarding the opening of Baba Dham Temple at Deoghar. The Chief Minister directed to provide a copy of the order of the Supreme Court related to the opening of the temple as soon as possible. It was decided that after studying the order of the Supreme Court, the religious place will be considered for opening in the wake of Covid-19.
It was decided to hold the meeting next week after the order copy is received.
