Ranchi, December 24: The delegation of “Jharkhand Christian Youth Association” and Bishop of GEL Church Siman Tirkey met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the Chief Minister’s residential office on Kanke Road, Ranchi on Christmas eve on Sunday and extended hearty greetings and best wishes on the occasion of ‘Christmas’.

Hemant Soren also extended hearty Christmas wishes to the residents of the state on the occasion of Christmas.

Hemant Soren said that ‘Christmas’ festival is a festival of sharing happiness with each other. This festival gives us all an introduction to mutual harmony and dedication to each other.
“I extend my congratulations and best wishes to all the people of the state on the occasion of ‘Christmas’, said Soren.
The delegation comprised Congress MLA Rajesh Kachyap, Bishop of GEL Church Seemant Tirkey and chief patron of Jharkhand Christian Youth Association, Sujit Kujur among others.
Earlier on Saturday, Hemant Soren during a meeting with Ranchi Archbishop Felix Toppo had said that the festival of ‘Christmas’ is a festival of great excitement, enthusiasm and happiness for all.
Hemant Soren had reached the Archbishop House on Purulia Road in Ranchi on Saturday and met Archbishop Felix Toppo and had view of the image of child Lord Jesus in the Archbishop House premises.
Archbishop Felix Toppo also extended his Christmas greetings and best wishes to Chief Minister.
Soren had also prayed to Lord Jesus for peace, peace, happiness and prosperity for the people of the state.
