Jamshedpur: In a grand event at Seraikela-Kharsawan’s Goundpur Maidan, Kharsawan, Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced schemes worth Rs 370 crore under the banner of “Aapki Yojna, Aapki Sarkar, Apke Dwar.” While presenting these initiatives, the Chief Minister expressed confidence in the government’s commitment to transparent and inclusive development.
Addressing the gathered crowd, Soren stated, “Our policy and intentions are crystal clear. We deliver what we promise to the public. Through schemes like ‘Aapki Yojna Aapki Sarkar, Apke Dwar,’ we aim to benefit tribals, Dalits, backward classes, minorities, women, youth, farmers, laborers, and every section of society. This is a step towards ensuring that government schemes and services reach every citizen.”
The event, held at Gondapur Maidan Kharsawan in Seraikela Kharsawan, saw a large turnout of people eager to witness the unveiling of developmental schemes. Chief Minister Hemant Soren highlighted the importance of saving water, forests, and land, emphasizing their significance in preserving tribal communities.
“This is an opportunity for the government to come among the people continuously for the last 3 years. We have adopted a development model that the previous government couldn’t muster the courage to implement for 20 years,” said Soren, reflecting on the government’s proactive approach to development.
He further remarked, “In the first phase of ‘Aapki Yojna, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar’ in 2021, we received 35 lakh applications, and in 2022, 55 lakh applications. This clearly shows that the previous government only pretended; no significant work happened on the ground.”
Amidst applause, the Chief Minister addressed the Opposition’s criticism, stating, “We fought for 40 years to get a separate state and joined the government after fighting for 20 years. Despite our blueprint for development, the opposition cannot see it because they view everything through tinted glasses.”
Under the Chief Minister Pashudhan Yojana, the government has fixed the insurance rate of animals and the MSP for forest produce. The Chief Minister assured farmers of prosperity through the strengthening and improvement of the Livestock scheme. Now, buffalo will also be available under this scheme, contributing to economic progress and the elimination of malnutrition.
In his address, the Chief Minister outlined the government’s efforts to support farmers and enhance wealth production. The formation of the Sidhu-Kanhu Forest Produce Federation aims to provide minimum support prices (MSP) for forest produce, protecting farmers from market middlemen and brokers.
Furthermore, the government plans to establish new rice mills and provide land for aspiring entrepreneurs in this sector. Addressing the issue of unemployment, Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced the government’s plan to make 50 thousand new appointments, reinforcing the commitment to generating employment opportunities.
Speaking about self-employment, Hemant Soren declared, “Banks may hesitate to provide loans for self-employment, but the government will offer loans without guarantees for self-employment.” He reassured the audience that the government is actively working towards enriching the employment generation scheme to benefit less educated individuals.
The event also featured addresses by Labour Minister Satyanand Bhokta and Minister Champai Soren, who enumerated the government’s achievements. The inclusive nature of the gathering was evident, with MLA Savita Mahato and MLA Dashrath Gagrai addressing a diverse audience, including women, men, youth, and children.
The “Aapki Yojna Aapki Sarkar, Apke Dwar” program continues to symbolize the government’s commitment to accessible and transparent governance, empowering diverse communities in Jharkhand.
