Surprise inspection of departments, feedback from masses on scheme’s execution
Ranchi, December 7: Chief minister Hemant Soren will review development related work in the districts from December 8 onward after success of the public outreach campaign, Apki Yojana, Apki Sarkar, Apke Dwar aimed at doorstep delivery of welfare schemes.
The Government has named “Khatiyani Johar Yatra” to highlight its achievements over the last three years and take feedback on the implementation of government schemes.
The UPA government in Jharkhand is set to complete three years on December 29.
A release issued by chief minister’s secretariat on Wednesday informed that the Chief Minister will take stock of the actual progress of development projects and welfare schemes by visiting various districts in person.
Hemant Soren has dropped hint of surprise visits to any department of the district for inspection. Besides this, blanket distribution shall also be done amongst the poor by the Chief Minister at the district level.
In the course of the district level review, the Chief Minister will take cognizance about the infrastructure work in the School of Excellence, Model Schools, Government Schools, Health Centres, Hospitals, Hostels, drinking water-supply, conditions of roads and bridges, irrigation facilities, Anganwadi Centres, Public Distribution System( PDS) shops, as well as other basic facilities related to common people.
The Chief Minister shall not just review but also personally visit the sites and shall stock of the actual conditions.
During his visits to various districts the Chief Minister will take cognizance of the focused schemes of the Government namely the Savitribai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana, Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme (CMEGP), Pashudhan Vikas Yojana, Sarvajan Pension Yojana, K.C.C, Krishi Rin Mafi Yojana, MGNREGA, Scholarship, Tourism, Sports besides others.
The Chief Minister has directed the secretary of the concerned departments, higher officials and district level office bearers to be present during his visit to various districts. So that the problems faced by the people can be solved immediately.
The exact itinerary will be announced soon. It is scheduled to roll out tentatively from December 8 and continue till February before the budget session of the Assembly and cover all 24 districts. The first phase will cover six districts and end by December 15 as the winter session of the Assembly is likely to be held from December 16,” a source in CM’s secretariat said.
The yatra will commence from Garhwa and reach Palamau, Gumla, Lohardaga, Godda and Deoghar districts.
