The JMM-led alliance government comprising Congress and RJD in Jharkhand have planned to relaunch Aapke Adhikar, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar’ (your rights, your government, at your door) in two phases – from October 12 to October 22 and from November 1 to November 14 this year.
“The government wants to showcase the success of this outreach programme aimed at taking welfare schemes to the doorstep of beneficiaries as it completes its third year in December this year,” said a source in the chief minister’s secretariat.
Last year Chief Minister Hemant Soren launched the programme on Statehood Day on November 15 and the government started holding camps for beneficiaries at the panchayat level from the next day.
The initiative aims at processing applications related to welfare schemes on the spot so that villagers start receiving benefits at the earliest.
In order to provide better transport service to the people of rural areas of the state, Hemant Soren government is going to bring Mukhyamantri Gram Gaadi Yojana-2022. This scheme can be launched by the Chief Minister himself in the mega asset distribution camp to be organized in Giridih during the launch of the Apke Dwar program. Before launching this scheme of the Transport Department, approval will be taken from the cabinet. According to departmental sources, the proposal of the Chief Minister’s Village Vehicle Scheme can be approved in the Hemant Soren cabinet meeting to be held on Monday.
By bringing Mukhyamantri Gram Gaadi Sadak Yojana, youth have to be encouraged to drive on rural roads and connect them with self-employment. Beneficiaries of ST, SC, minority and BC category will get the benefit of this. The government will also give subsidies on interest in buying a vehicle. A provision of Rs 20 crore has also been made for interest subsidy. In the scheme, the government will also encourage private bus operators.
