Ranchi, Aug 12: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday held interaction with the heads and bureau chiefs of leading media houses of the state at his official residence in Ranchi. Speaking on the occasion, Hemant Soren said due to the Coronavirus situation the frequent interactions could not take place, however with the combined efforts of every one the situation is now returning to normalcy therefore interactions like this will be very helpful to make a bridge between the government and the media. He said events like these will help to strengthen the bond between the government and media and it will also help to ensure that development schemes information reach to the people. The chief minister called upon the representatives present in the function to come forward with their suggestions so that the state government can work in a more better manner for the people. He also assured that the state government is also serious over the welfare of the journalists and is taking steps to ensure more smooth flow of information and communication between the government and media. During the event the editors and Bureau Chiefs also raised their issues and lauded the different initiatives of the state government. Chief Secretary Sukhdeo Singh, principal Secretary to chief Minister Rajeev Arun Ekka, IPRD director Sashi Prakssh Singh were present on the occasion.
