Jharkhand CM inaugurates Nursing Skills College near Jamshedpur

Inaugurates and lays foundation stones for 45 schemes worth Rs 1 billion 24 crore

Jamshedpur: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Saturday inaugurated a Nursing Skills College at Rajnagar in Seraikela-Kharsawan. The college will prepare 120 nurses every year to cater to the growing needs of the medical sector.

Addressing the function, Das said that he goal of the government is to empower tribal girls, backward, minority communities, and generate employment opportunities by creating skills. He went on to add that three medical colleges have been started in the state while two medical colleges are under construction. Sadar Hospitals of various districts are being expanded.

� We need skilled human resources. With new medical colleges and hospitals, demand for nurses has arisen. We have plans to open more nursing colleges at Ranchi and Sahebganj.

The Chief Minister noted:   �We are living in the era of knowledge. We need to walk step by step with the knowledge based era. The steps being taken by our Government will generate employment opportunities.  I wish the bright future of the 120 girls undergoing training.

The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand had a stable government for last five years this led to momentum. He also laid foundation stone and inaugurated scheme worth more than one billion rupees at Seraikela.

Latter in the day Das also addressed public meetings in Tanthanagar, Kumardungi and Jagannathpur under Johar Jan Ashirwad Yatra. He targeted former Chief Minister Shibu Soren and his family for looting and plundering Jharkhand wealth. Das said that both father and son ( Shibu and Hemant Soren) served as the Chief Ministers of the State but did nothing for the development.

Addressing the gathering, Das alleged that said that most of the CNT-SPT Act violation has been done by Soren family in the State alone. The family bought large chunk of lands misusing the act.

He also described JMM as Jharkhand Mudra Mochan party, alleging that only one family has benefited after state was carved out of Bihar. Das noted that JMM matlab Jharkhand Mudra Mochan Party. It (JMM) has looted adivasis and moolvasis.  He said that JMM is ruled by a particular family only and if anyone wants to make big in the party he needs to take birth in that family.
