Ranchi, July 11: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday gifted development schemes worth Rs 200 crore to Jamtara district on Monday and also distributed assets worth Rs 100 crore.
During this, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of eight schemes, while seven schemes were inaugurated.
In all, Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of the schemes mentioned on the 90 inscriptions among the people of Jamtara. From the stage, the Chief Minister reiterated his promise of development. He said that the work which was not done in the last 20 years, has been done in the last two years.
The Chief Minister said that his government has done that work which no state in the country has done so far. During this, he mentioned the universal pension scheme for people above 60 years of age and the pension scheme for widowed women above 18. He said that for the first two years, his government was involved in fighting strongly against Covid pandemic. Despite this, the government was ready to take the development plans on the ground. He said that through the ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ program, people in the inaccessible areas of the state have got the benefits of the schemes.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren also distributed assets on the stage itself. He said that the government will fulfill all the pending demands of Jamtara.
Some of the major plans which have been announced for Jamtara include,
About Rs 63 crore will be spent by the Road Construction Department to improve the riding quality on Govindpur Sahibganj State Highway.
Foundation stone of 41 km long Murgabani Rajnagar road was also laid at a cost of 19.5 crores.
Foundation stone of Mahulbona-Gediya-Khaira water supply and Pahargoda water supply scheme at a cost of 20 crores was laid by the Department of Drinking Water Sanitation.
Foundation stone was laid for construction of Subdivision office building, Swami Vivekananda Children’s Park and six check dam construction schemes.
Inauguration of PSA Plant of Sadar Hospital and Mihijam public health centre, Vidyut Shakti Kendra at Pabiya and various schemes.
