He directed field-level police officers to hold public hearings and address grievances promptly. Additionally, he called for the speedy completion of the Kantatoli Flyover and the flyover from Siramtoli to Mecon Chowk.

The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of filling vacant positions to enhance departmental efficiency and improve public welfare schemes. By the end of September 2024, the state government aims to fill approximately 30,000 vacancies across various departments.

The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary L. Khiangte, Additional Chief Secretary to the CM Avinash Kumar, Principal Secretary of the Home Department Vandana Dadel, DGP Ajay Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary of the Road Construction Department Sunil Kumar, JSSC Chairman Prashant Kumar, Secretary of Urban Development Arva Rajkamal, ADG Headquarters R.K. Mallick, ADG Operations Sanjay Anand Latkar, IG Ranchi Akhilesh Jha, SSP Ranchi Chandan Sinha, and other officials.

CM Soren specifically instructed the acceleration of recruitment processes for 5,000 police officers and 583 excise constables, with the running process for excise constables to be completed by the end of July 2024 and for police officers by August 15, 2024.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren will distribute appointment letters to 1,500 Post Graduate Trained (PGT) teachers on July 12 at a ceremony to be held at Prabhat Tara Ground in Dhurwa, Ranchi. The event, scheduled to start at 12:30 PM, will see CM Soren personally handing over the appointment letters to the teachers. Finance Minister Dr. Rameshwar Oraon, Labor Minister Satyanand Bhokta, and Education Minister Baidyanath Ram will also be present at the ceremony.

Initially, on July 3, over 1,500 teachers were to receive their appointment letters from then-Chief Minister Champai Soren at the same venue. However, the event was postponed due to unavoidable reasons cited by the Jharkhand School Education and Literacy Department. The appointment process for 3,120 teachers began in 2022, with around 1,000 teachers receiving their letters in the first phase. Preparations are now underway for the distribution of letters to the remaining 1,500 teachers on July 12.
