Chakulia, Mar 13: Chief Minister Champai Soren is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for the construction of a degree college building in Maradabandh, Chakulia, on March 15. The construction project, estimated at Rs 55.64 crore, will mark a significant step forward in the educational infrastructure of the region. In preparation for the Chief Minister’s visit, MLA Sameer Kumar Mahanty, along with several other district officials, conducted a thorough inspection of the site on Wednesday.
Accompanying MLA Mahanty were Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal, SSP Kaushal Kishore, DDC Manish Kumar, Rural SP Rishabh Garg, and District Public Relations Officer Panchanan Oraon. The inspection encompassed the helipad site at Maradabandh Stadium ground, where the Chief Minister is expected to land by helicopter for the ceremony. Additionally, officials meticulously scrutinized the designated location for the foundation stone laying ceremony.
Sub-divisional Officer Sachchidanand Mahato from Ghatshila, SDPO Ajit Kumar Kujur, Zonal Officer Upendra Kumar, Block Development Officer Aarti Munda, Block Chief Dhananjay Karunamay, and City Administrator Chandan Kumar from Nagar Panchayat were among the officials present during the inspection. Also in attendance were Police Station In-Charge Santosh Kumar, City Manager Monis Salam, Rakesh Mahanti, and Twenty Point President Saheb Ram Mandi, among others.
