Jamshedpur, Mar 5: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, accompanied by his wife, MLA Kalpana Soren, arrived in Jamshedpur to attend the wedding of Ichagarh MLA Savita Mahato’s daughter, Shreya Mahato. The ceremony took place at Kadma Uliyan, where the Chief Minister blessed the bride and extended his best wishes.
In a heart-warming moment, the event also turned into a birthday celebration for Kalpana Soren. The Chief Minister marked the occasion by cutting a cake and expressing his affection. “Kalpana is a gift for me and I am a gift for her—nothing more is needed,” Soren said.
The couple reached Jamshedpur via a chartered plane, landing at Sonari Airport before heading to the wedding venue. Former minister Banna Gupta was also present.
Speaking on Jharkhand’s newly presented budget, Soren assured that it caters to every section of society. “No one has any reason to be dissatisfied. This budget is designed in the best interest of the state and will bring smiles to the faces of the people,” he stated.
