Ranchi, March 23: Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren alleged Centre of not respecting non-BJP ruled state heads.
Speaking at the assembly budget session last day, Soren said that many Union Ministers including the Home Minister are coming to Jharkhand and inaugurating their projects and schemes but that the protocol was not being followed.
He cited the example of foundation laying and inauguration of road projects in the capital by Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday in which he said that protocol was not followed as the name of the cabinet minister of Jharkhand was at the end while that of the BJP leaders was on the top.

The chief minister pointed out without the approval of the state government it was not possible to construct roads or bridges here and sought answers from the BJP and their leaders as to what they will get from such step-motherly treatment.
Soren further said that their minister has joined as CM’s representative. But even there the protocol was not maintained. The entire program was hijacked by the BJP.
Jharkhand’s Drinking Water and Sanitation Minister Mithilesh Thakur has said that he did not go to the program of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, because the central government has violated the protocol. Not inviting the CM of the state in which the foundation stone of the schemes is being laid, not being named in the advertisement is a very serious issue.
“”Earlier I had decided to join as a representative of the government. But now I will not join,” said Thakur.
