Jharkhand CM accuses BJP behind PIL against Mainya Samman Yojana

Ranchi, September 1:  A PIL has been filed in the Jharkhand High Court to stop the Jharkhand Chief Minister Mainya Samman Yojana.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren has questioned on the social media platform that why does the BJP not want the welfare of the sisters of the state? Why do they have so much trouble with the Mainiya Yojana?

“I understand their trouble and irritation with me, but the constant attack on the interests of Jharkhandis is worrisome. The CM has said that we will never let their intention succeed,” Hemant Soren has shared on his social media handle.

In this case, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has alleged on social media that this has been done at the behest of the BJP. JMM has written that the BJP did not like the happiness of Jharkhandi sisters.

“They could not stop Hemant Soren and Mainiya Yojana by using all their power, spreading lies, doing all the tricks, so now they have started to get the scheme canceled under the policy of hang, mislead and trap,” the post by JMM reads.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren has reposted this post of JMM on X.

A PIL has been filed in Jharkhand High Court demanding a ban on Mukhyamantri Mainiyaan Samman Yojana. The petition of the applicant Vishnu Sahu, a resident of Simdega, states that the state government cannot give money directly to any particular person in his account. The government runs on the taxes of the public. The money received from the public has to be invested in welfare schemes.

The petitioner claims that assembly elections are likely in Jharkhand in the next one-two months. The applicant has alleged that the state government has brought such a scheme to woo the voters.

In the CM Mainya Samman Yojana, a monthly amount of Rs 1000 is transferred directly to the bank account of eligible women beneficiaries between the age group of 20-50 years and is being billed as the game changer by the Hemant Soren government to woo women voters months before the assembly polls.
